Policy Update: Candidate Ownership & Engagement
At Relode, we recognize the dedication and effort our cloud recruiters invest in sourcing top talent. Finding and connecting with the right candidates is a challenge, and we appreciate the work you do to identify and refer high-quality professionals.
We are updating our candidate ownership policy to enhance efficiency and maximize placements. Historically, recruiters have maintained ownership of a candidate for a specific job, while other recruiters could link the same candidate to different roles. And once a candidate was submitted to a job on our platform, they were not made available to other recruiters.
What’s Changing?
Effective Monday, February 17th, if a candidate does not complete the qualification verification process within 30 days, they will be randomly assigned to active recruiters in a round-robin process, allowing them to attempt to engage with them for the role. This applies ONLY if the candidate's disposition has not been updated with one of the following statuses:
- Accepted Another Opp
- Current Employee of Client
- No Longer Seeking
- Not Qualified
If another recruiter successfully engages with the candidate and they are ultimately hired, the original recruiter who initially linked them to the job will still earn the 'referred by' reward.
This policy ensures that candidates are actively engaged in the hiring process, increasing their chances of placement. If you don’t want your candidates reassigned, you can reject them on the job in Relode.
Why Are We Making This Change?
We know candidates are added to jobs without direct recruiter interaction. This change creates a more dynamic and effective approach to candidate engagement.
Our goal is to increase placements and recruiter success by ensuring that promising candidates do not go uncontacted. By allowing other recruiters to engage candidates in the Qualifying stage, we improve the likelihood of successful hires while maintaining fairness in recruiter recognition.
We appreciate your continued partnership and commitment to helping top talent find great opportunities. If you have any questions about this update, please email support@relode.com.
Thank you for your dedication and being a valuable part of our cloud recruiter network.
