Candidate Reviews & Verification
In order for Job Managers to be made aware of your candidate, and before they can be sent to our client, you must send the Qualifying link & they must complete the qualification questions before moving into the Review stage. During this process, candidates will be provided with an optional text box to provide answers to client-required qualification questions, or additional context around work history and experience. The summary should be a 4-5 sentence elevator pitch of why they are a great fit for the job. Include items from their resume and experience that speak directly to what the position is requiring and any additional qualifications they may have beyond the minimum requirements. How would you sell them to the hiring manager? Before putting a candidate into Review, ensure they have never applied to the client, or currently work for them in any capacity, Relode can't represent these candidates.
Relode will automatically reformat resumes to meet our requirements. If it turns out to not look right, you can download, edit, and re-upload the resume. The screenshot below shows where resumes can be uploaded, opened in a new window, or downloaded. The toggle next to it will show you either the original or formatted resume.
Candidate Verification
By text message or email, the candidate will be asked to accept or deny working with you and Relode. If they accept, they will be prompted to confirm the context of their work history to see if it meets the client's requirements. This may include years of experience, licenses, certifications, etc. To review exactly what your candidate will be asked, always check the "quals" section of each job for a full list. If they choose to deny it, they will be prompted for a reason why and given information about other opportunities that may be a good fit based on their skill set.
This verification functions not only as an important "right to represent" for each candidate in Relode but also provides confidence for the Job Manager that they have been screened and vetted for the role properly. Relode recruiters who have repeated candidates deny their verification for reasons of "do not know recruiter" or "not qualified" will be removed from the Relode platform.
If you want to edit a candidates Review Summary, go into your candidate's profile, confirm the correct role, and click the "status" heading underneath the job title. This section will show you the stage of the hiring process your candidate is in. From here you will click the "Review" option and will be presented with a pencil icon to make edits to the current review. This area is also where you can choose to re-send the verification text or email to your candidate if needed.
Please note all candidates will remain in the Qualifying stage with an "Awaiting Verification" tag showing you they haven't approved verification yet. Once verification is returned, the status will be updated to "Verified" Review and the Job Manager will be notified.
- This is the final step of the Review Process for all candidates
- This is an example of what your candidate will see after verifying their right to be represented. Each list of qualifications will be unique to the job and its specific requirements.
Qualification questions may include a video prompt. Job Managers have the option of recording a question, and candidates have the option of recording a 60 second response. For candidates not comfortable with video technology, they still have the option of written response.
