Improper Candidate Submittals

A vital responsibility of a Recruiter is qualifying candidates before you move them to the Review stage. To ensure only fully qualified candidates are being put into Review for a job, there are three improper rejection reasons that a Relode Job Manager will mark:

  1. Candidate is actively working for client
  2. Candidate has previously applied to role/ interviewed for role
  3. Inaccurate candidate profile

Moving unqualified candidates to the Review stage creates several problems:

  • Diverts Job Manager's time from working with qualified candidates or bringing new jobs to the platform.
  • Creates a bad reputation for Relode with the client hiring manager, which means potentially losing clients/jobs.
  • Each candidate that is improperly submitted costs Relode money in the submittal rewards that are paid, but the candidate is not hired for the job.

Relode monitors the number of improper rejections for each Recruiter on a weekly basis. If a Recruiter reaches three or more improper submittals within a 30-day timeframe, the submittal rewards will be removed. We will proactively communicate through email and system messages regarding any improper rejections you generate to ensure you are aware of each case before removing any rewards.

Please be sure to add notes into your candidates' profile or into their review summary stating that you have asked the candidate about applying or interviewing with the client previously, to ensure if an improper submittal occurs our team has the full context. We value your hard work and know recruiting isn't easy, but please be careful when qualifying candidates to ensure you're asking the right questions to avoid unnecessary rejections.
